Pilchards And Pasta


  • 400g Lucky Star Pilchards
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 pkt of macaroni or spaghetti
  • pinch of salt


Boil the pasta and drain when soft. Heat oil in the pan and fry onion that is finely chopped until light brown. Debone the pilchards, add to the onion. Add a pinch of salt. Add the drained pasta. Stir until mixed and leave to boil for a bit

Best enjoyed with

Salad: cucumber, onion, tomato, lettuce finely chopped. Add a bit of vinegar and sugar. Stir and serve
