Fish Fatcakes


400g Lucky Star Pilchards(chilli or tomato)
2 cups cake flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cup raw grated potato
5 tsp of fish spice
1 tsp peri peri spice(optional)
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup of water
cooking oil to deepfry


Empty pilchards into a bowl and break up into small pieces with a fork
Mix flour,baking powder,spices,salt together
Add pilchards and potatoes and mix well
Add water into mixture and mix well
Take tablespoon of dough and deepfry in hot cooking oil.
Turn until golden brown on both sides
Serve hot
