It’s easy to get lazy about cooking. Everyone is busy, work days are long and sometimes a takeout just seems like a much better option than standing in front of the stove.

Cooking doesn’t have to be time-consuming; these are our five favourite 10 minute recipes to get you through the week.

Monday
Kickstart the week with a tasty, protein-filled breakfast for that extra oomph. A tuna and tomato omelette is the best start to a morning. Packed with eggs and tuna, the protein will give you all the extra fuel you need to tackle the beginning of the week.

Tuesday
A pilchard bean wrap is a great addition to your Tuesday lunchbox. Fill the wrap with fresh, crunchy vegetables and your favourite pilchards, for a nutritous meal that will keep you going all day. Pilchards and beans are both an excellent source of protein.

 Wednesday
A healthy and comforting curried pilchard macaroni bake is the perfect mid-week meal. Put together a casserole for the whole family, in just ten minutes. Prepare with fresh vegetables and your favourite brand of pasta. 

Thursday
Sardines, spinach, tomatoes and peanuts are all packed with nutritious goodness. This is a salad brimming with healthy ingredients! Spinach is high in protein, fiber, vitamins, calcium, iron and more, while sardines are packed with omega 3s and are low in sodium.

Friday
